With your generous support, we have been able to pay for and sustain an orphan programme; feeding, clothing, educating and sheltering the most vulnerable of all. We have helped children who’ve lost limbs have new ones fitted. We’ve launched an app that allows people to learn how to deal with the stresses they are feeling as a result of the war.
This month, the war in Syria enters its 9th year. While the indiscriminate bombing of civilians by Russia and Assad has greatly reduced, the need of Syrians has not. Those who’ve lost limbs will need support for their entire lives, and orphans who’ve lost their parents will need support at least until they are adults.
When looking at the stats, it’s easy for us to be overwhelmed and left with a sense of helplessness, but if the SRRF is proof of anything, it is that no gesture of kindness is too small. When you donate to us, 99.5% of what we raise goes to where it should, to those so desperately in need.
